Pandemic Tapestries (19)

During the pandemic, I found solace in the rhythmic, tactile act of weaving—a grounding process amidst global uncertainty. My Pandemic Tapestries series, composed of 19 pieces in reference to COVID-19, are suspended from black paper straws rather than the chopsticks I typically use, marking them as distinct from my other work. These straws, though deceptively delicate in appearance, symbolize the fragile yet resilient hope that the pandemic’s impact will not be permanent.
